If you want to be successful in life,
no 1 thing you need to add to your life is taking risks, calculated risks I mean.
If you can't take risks,
you won't go far in life, you will just be stuck like dam water.
There is no successful person who doesn't take risks when needed.
The risk you take may either make or mar you,
so you need to examine your SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) before taking any risk.
You wake up every day, and continuing with your daily business as usual is not a risk but an effort which the Almighty may crown or not.
But taking risks will involve you doing what you haven't done before and requires a lot of commitment mostly in cash or kind.
If it turns out to be successful in the end,
then you make it but if the other way round, the risk has mar you and you will struggle to start all over again.
That's why it is difficult for most salary earners to quit their jobs and start their business,
it is even difficult for some to be running such a business side by side with their salary job except a few who are courageous enough to take risks.
Quitting your salary job to start your own business is one the biggest risks to take,
you need to be calculated with it and must have provided at least what your family will feed on for the first 3 months in the business in case of any downfall.
